A. R. Rahman Ventures Into Filmmaking

Academy Award-winning music composer A. R. Rahman has won several hearts with his soulful harmonies. And now he is all geared up to venture into film direction. According to recent reports,  Rahman will be making his directorial debut with a movie titled ‘Le Musk’, a virtual reality short.

The prelude of the flick will be released on Samsung VR on May 10. The music virtuoso took to Twitter to express his happiness as he preps up to don the director’s hat. Rahman wrote, “Excited to be working with Jacqueline Cao of Samsung on the release of "Le Musk" prelude on Samsung VR. Catch it on the 10th of May”.

The poster features Nora Arnezeder, who plays the protagonist in the flick. The musician has joined hands with Canadian company Ideal Entertainment for the film. The company will be partnering with the music maestro on two other projects titled ‘99 Songs’ and ‘One Heart- The A.R. Rahman Concert Film’.
