Actress Ambika Bags Another Important Role!

Veteran actress Ambika is a famous face in all four South Indian film industries. She is known to take up important roles in the films. The Kana Kanmani actress last appeared on cinema screens in 2015. She featured in director Vijay’s ‘Idhu Enna Maayam’ and since then, she was nowhere to be seen. But, she will be soon starring in a Tamil film.

The flick is director Vijay Chander’s next venture. Chiyaan Vikram and Tamannaah will be playing the leading roles in the upcoming film. A source divulged the information about Ambika’s role in the film. “It is true that she has been approached for the movie, but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. If she decides to hop on board, she will essay the role of Vikram’s mother in the movie,” the source said.

Recently, the first schedule of this forthcoming film was completed. Vikram is busy in the shooting of Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ these days. After completing the schedule of Menon’s film, he will resume the shooting for Chander’s project.
