The Angry Birds Movie To Be Released In Tamil As Well

With several Hollywood movies being dubbed into local languages nowadays, the trend has changed where fans earlier had to watch movies on their television after months of their release date. Films of various genres have been dubbed and have hit screens on a large scale, majorly Tamil and Telugu.

Now, the latest animated flick The Angry Birds Movie will be seen in Tamil version too. "Of late, we have started dubbing our animation films, too, after seeing that the collections of the dubbed versions of Ice Age: Continental Drift were more than that of The Dark Knight Rises when the two films released around the same time in 2012. We have found that when it comes to Hollywood films, audiences here are keen on watching films that provide them experiences that local films cannot deliver. Dubbing such films into regional languages helps us penetrate into newer markets", the spokesperson said.

Furthermore, the local distributors are confident and going to dub horror film made by Warner Bros The Conjuring 2 in Tamil as well. One of the managers of a multiplex in the suburbs of Chennai said that the dubbed movies run house full in their region. He added that families with kids, usually youngsters form the chunk of audiences.
