Anisha Singh bags role in Koottathil Oruthan

Anisha Singh is set to make her Kollywood debut, after bagging a role in Koottathil Oruthan. The actress, who is best known for her performances in films such as Ayyare and Beeruva, will be seen essaying an important role in the film. The movie will be helmed by debutant director T.J. Gnanavel.

"While Ashok and Priya play the lead, Anisha has been roped in for an important role. The makers have been tight-lipped about her role, but it is said to be something different from what she's done before", a source told TOI. The film went on the floors on May 1. The team is currently shooting in Vellore in VIT College.

The movie, which has been described as an ‘adventurous love story’, will be produced by Studio Green. The music for the film will be composed by Nivas Prasana. The film features Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand in the lead roles along with Anisha Singh and Nasser.
