Another Movie With Title ‘2.O’ In The Pipeline

Till now when you hear or read ‘2.0’, name of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar instantly strike your minds as it is name of their upcoming film. However, in future when you hear the word you will have to hear every detail to know whose film is it as another film is in the pipeline with the same title. Y Not Studios, famous for making films on bizarre subjects, is prepping up for the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster ‘Tamizh Padam’.

The sequel is titled ‘Tamizh Padam 2.O’. Director CS Amudhan, who made his directorial debut with Tamizh Padam, will helm the sequel also. Actor Shiva who gave marvellous performance in the first part has been roped in for the sequel also. The makers are working on the pre-production work of the sequel.

When asked about why they have chosen the title which is similar to Rajinikanth’s film’s title, producer Sashikanth of Y Not Studios said, “This is also a spoof. You will know when you watch the film. And the very reason it raises curiosity among the audiences fulfills our purpose. And if you have noticed, the first part had an open end.” The makers are yet to finalise the rest of the cast and crew.
