AR Rahman To Launch Music Of Resul Pookutty's Debut Movie

Kollywood’s sound designer, editor and mixer Resul Pookutty is known to have won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing for the movie Slumdog Millionaire, along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp. Rumours are churning that the award winning sound designer is looking forward to make a debut in Kollywood.

Resul is said to be making his acting debut in the movie titled as ‘Oru Kadhai Sollatuma’. Moreover, the rumours are that music of the upcoming movie will be launched by none other than the Indian Maestro AR Rahman . The rumours were confirmed when Resul took to his twitter handle to confirm the news. His post read as, “Happy2 let you know that my maiden venture’s Music release will be done by my big bro A.R. Rahman in the august presence of Shankar”.

Resul Pookutty also won an Oscar for Best Sound Mixing in the 2009 movie Slumdog Millionaire. He is known to have composed music for many movies such as Black and Everybody Says I’m Fine.
