Arrambam on its way to create history, crosses 50 crores

Ajith Kumar’s Diwali release Arrambam has already created a new benchmark in the history of Southern cinema as it has crossed 50 crores in the first week of its release. The much-awaited Vishnuvardhan-directed film has collected 7.20 crores at the Chennai box office and around 30 crores across Tamil Nadu.

Along with the international collections, the film has earned over 50 crores which is a huge reason for celebrations for Thala Ajith’s fans as well as the makers of the film. The film has been declared as a blockbuster as Karthi’s All in All Azhagu Raja hasn't met its viewers’ high expectations. As Arrambam has got more viewership, the collections are supposed to increase in the next couple of weeks. Arrambam has been produced by Sri Satya Sai Movies and it has its music composed by Yuvanshankar Raja. Arrambam also stars Nayantara, Arya and Taapsee Pannu and it was released on October 31.
