Arulnithi gets engaged to Keerthana in a private ceremony

Kollywood star Arulnithi who rose to fame with Vamsam, got engaged to Keerthana, the daughter of a former Madras High Court judge, at a star hotel. The engagement ceremony was a close-knit family affair, attended only by close friends and relatives. The lovely couple exchanged the rings as per the traditions, in presence of their family .

The delighted actor shared a picture from the engagement on his micro-blogging page and tweeted, "Big day for me ... I'm engaged". While talking to a leading English daily, Arulnithi says, "It's an arranged marriage, and we are planning to tie the knot in the month of June. However, the date is yet to be decided. Our engagement took place on Monday, and it was a family affair. We all had great fun. In fact, the function was to happen early this year, but got delayed as I was busy with my shoots."

Arulnithi is currently busy with the post-production work of his next horror film, De Monte Colony. However, he does not want to take his wife to watch the movie. He confirms, "I don't want to take her to see that for the very first time. I will shoot for a love story, and take her to watch that one after my marriage. Also, De Monte Colony and Naalu Polisum Nallairuntha Oorum will probably hit the screens before I get hitched to her." 

The actor was flooded with best wishes and congratulatory notes from fans and celebrities across the tinsel town.
