Ashwin Kakumanu Positive About Thiri

Flamboyant actor Ashwin Kakumanu is pinning high hopes on his forthcoming flick, Thiri. This political thriller revolves around a father-son association, where the father’s character is played by Jayaprakash. The flick is being directed by Ashok Amritharaj S and bankrolled by Anton Ranjith S and Vetrik Kumaran M.

“Thiri is a political thriller with ample family sentiments. The film will also explore father and son relationship. It is about a middle-class guy, who is unsure of what do after graduation. At that time, he gets stuck in a problem and how he manages to come out of it forms the crux,” explains Ashwin Kakumanu.

Talking about the other two projects Ashwin being working on, the Vedalam star is set to appear in light hearted comedy Thollaikatchi, set in a village backdrop and also in Idhu Vedalam Sollum Kadhai, which would be a fantasy thriller with mythological elements.
