Bharat Bala is in the process of reviving The 19th Step

The Southern filmmaker-screenwriter-producer is all set to perk up his project (The 19th Step) that was on hold for a long time. He confirmed, “Yes, I'm in the process of reviving The 19th Step. It will be with a fresh cast and will have a fresh look. I've started re-looking at the script and will work on finalizing it. In the coming months, I will be in a position to announce the cast and other details.”

The story of the film is penned by MT Vasudevan Nair. Earlier there were reports that Bala is having the star cast of Kamal Haasan, Asin and Japanese actor Tadanobu Asano to work with but now the maker is thinking to make the flick with a fresh cast. After putting The 19th Step at rest, the director declared to create Maryan, starring Dhanush, Parvathi Menon, Salim Kumar in the lead roles and now it seems that Bala is planning to get back to his big project once again before commencing work on Maryan.
