Big weekend for Nithya Menon and Tapsee Pannu

This weekend will witness the release of two films Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 2 and Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani. Both the movies are expected to fare well at the box office. Nithya Menon, who plays pivotal roles in both the films, must be hoping to establish a foothold in Kollywood.

In the same manner, Tapsee Pannu’s Kanchana 2 might do some wonders for her filmy career. It is reported that the actress lost ground after her sensational debut with the National Award winning Tamil Film Aadukalam. Kanchana 2 is expected to bring Pannu’s career back on track.

Kanchana 2 has been produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. While OK Kanmani has been produced by Madras Talkies and directed by Mani Ratnam. Both the movies are slated for release on April 17.
