Bobby Simha In Talks For Antagonist Role In Saamy 2?

The sequel to the 2003 cop film, ‘Saamy’, will bring back Vikram in the lead role. Hari will also return to the director’s chair and this time, according to reports, Bobby Simha will be playing the main villain. The actor himself confirmed that he was approached for the role but he has not given his nod as of yet.

Simha is currently busy with Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Karuppan’, where he is also playing a negative role. When asked about Saamy 2, the actor shared, “It's true that I have been approached by the makers. But I am yet to sign the movie”.

Bobby has previously shown his prowess in negative roles multiple times in films like ‘Jigarthanda’, ‘Metro’ and ‘Iraivi’. His performance in these films was lauded by the audiences. Whether or not the actor will be part of ‘Saamy 2’, only time will tell.

As of now, Trisha and Keerthy Suresh have been confirmed for the flick with Trisha playing the female lead.
