Cheenu Mohan Ecstatic To Work In ‘Mersel’

Actor Cheenu Mohan is on the seventh heaven ever since he has been approached by director Atlee for his next venture ‘Mersal’. The action packed movie will have actor Vijay playing the lead. Cheenu was last seen in Karthik Subburaj's ‘Iraivi’.

About landing an opportunity in the film, Mohan said, "It is not easy to get a chance to work with Vijay, and when I got a call from Atlee's team, I immediately accepted. I cannot wait to start shooting with the team. Atlee, I think, is a great director and brings out the best in an actor, which is very important."

When quizzed about his role in the film, the Whistle actor said, "I play the role of the heroine's father in the movie. I will start shooting for the role from the first week of July. I am glad that I have a lot of combination scenes with Vijay. I couldn't have asked for more."
