Choc-a-bloc shooting schedules taking toll on Shruthi Haasan’s health

While on the one hand she is flooded with good offers, on the other hand continuous work is taking a toll on the health of talented actress Shruti Haasan. According to sources, the Tollywood beauty, who already has two big projects, Prabhu Deva’s Hindi filmRamaiya Vasta Vaiyaand Telugu filmBalupuopposite Ravi Teja,in her hand and has also been offered another Bollywood film, collapsed during a recent visit to Chennai. The sources said that her condition was so bad that she had to be admitted to a hospital. Shruti was reportedly treated for exhaustion and dehydration but as soon as she was discharged, the star flew back to Pune to shoot for a song of Prabhu Deva’s film.

Producer Kumar Taurani was also all praise for Shruthi. He said, "Shruthi is very talented and professional girl. Despite falling ill, she insisted on shooting and didn't want to inconvenience the rest of the cast and crew. We are very impressed with her dedication." Shruti confirmed the news, saying, "I'm currently shooting for Prabhu Dheva's Hindi film in a village near Pune. It's been fun working with the unit, but I can't wait to get back to the city. The heat here is taking a toll on my health and I've been facing dehydration issues as well. Even Prabhu is helpless. So, as soon as I finish this schedule, I will take off to Hyderabad, where I will begin shooting forBalupu."
