Court rejects petition against Thillu Mullu remake

A petition was filed against the remake of Thillu Mullu by actor-director Visu but it has been dismissed by the magistrate. Now the film will release without any disturbance.

The eminent director Visu pleaded against the release of Thillu Mullu remake complaining that the makers of the new film didn’t take his permission before remaking it. He was the dialogue writer of the original 1981 film. But the producer and the screen playwright of the remake version said that the screenplay of the original movie has not been used in the new one.

They have also assured that all cinematographic rights have been acquired through the proper channel to remake the film from the producers of the original one. As Justice R. Sudhakar has bought the clarifications from the makers of Thillu Mullu 2, the case has been closed. Now the movie is free to hit the theatres.
