Crew of Director Rahul’s ‘1 AM’ Has Spine Chilling Experience

Director Rahul is known for directing the 2016 Tamil horror comedy film, ‘Jithan 2’. The film failed to impress audience. However, the director is ready with his next project, which is touted to be a horror thriller. The venture has been titled as ‘1 AM’.

The story of the film revolves around a boy who seeks revenge for his elder sister, who has been raped. He have his vengeance with the help of a ghost. What is all the way more intriguing is the incident which the film’s crew has experienced while filming.

The director shared the spooky experience with Deccan Chronicle while filming in a bungalow near the beach on East Coast Road. Divulging some details about the bungalow, he said, “We did not know at that time that a family of five — a older couple, their son and daughter-in-law and their kid committed suicide in the opposite house to our bungalow.”

He further revealed about the experience. “There's a scene where the heroine jumps from the terrace and dies. While I was waiting downstairs with the cameraman, Sashwatha was on the terrace. It was shot at night. As she looked down from the terrace, she saw a woman like figure standing between two pillars and just could not continue. Realising that something went wrong, I rushed to her and saw the same figure and it was spine chilling! After a few minutes, it vanished and we somehow finished the scene and left the venue,” Rahul added.

The film will be featuring newcomers Mohan and Sashwatha in the lead roles.
