Debutante Shivani Rajasekar Set To Star In Vishnu Vishal’s Next

Shivani Rajasekar has been roped in to play the lead female character in an upcoming Telugu film. The actress has signed for the Telugu remake of the Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States . The film is going to be directed by debutant director Venkatesh and the film is yet to be titled.

This will mark Shivani’s debut in the industry and she has been paired opposite Vishnu Vishal. Speaking about how she landed this role, Shivani said, “I got a call from Vishnu sir's studio asking me to send some of my portfolio pictures. Later, I met the director and Vishnu in Chennai for a story narration. I really liked the heroine's role. But things weren't confirmed that day. A few days later, they told me that I was on board”.

Further, the film is set on a rural backdrop. Moreover, the film will be a love story and its shooting might begin in April. Meanwhile, Singer Krish will mark his debut as a music composer with this film and cinematography is going to be handled by Velraj.
