Dhanush Ropes In Sudeep For Historical Drama

Kollywood star Dhanush is known to have starred in movies such as Maari, Thanga Magan and Rail. The star is currently shooting for his next movie titled as ‘Maari 2’. The star will be also working on an upcoming historical drama genre movie.

According to a story published on timesofindia.indiatimes.com, the star is looking forward to casting all the prominent stars such as Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna in the upcoming movie. The latest rumor is that Dhanush has roped in Kannada actor Sudeep for a crucial role in the movie. A source said, “Yes, the team has contacted Sudeep for the film and he has given the green signal”.

The upcoming historical drama movie will have a backdrop of pre-independent India. It is being said that Dhanush will be helming the project after he has completed the shooting of ‘Maari 2’. Earlier, there were rumors that ‘Maari 2’ will star Sai Pallavi as the lead actress.
