Did Neruppu Da's Teaser Release Change Mood Of Rajinikanth?

Kabali’s producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu has revealed the reaction of the superstar Rajinikanth, who is in the U.S, following the release of a spectacular video teaser featuring 'Neruppu Da' song from the flick. He further reported that Thalaivar was very happy as the teaser was unveiled, amid rumors about his ill-health that raised a concern among his fans. In addition, he said, the superstar was also pleased with a kind of response the teaser received from public along with the timing of the release.

A leading daily quoted Thanu as stating,“He (Rajinikanth) called me at 6:42 in the morning. I missed his call. Then I called him back. He told me that he was happy that we released the audio at a time when such rumours are afloat”.

The 35-second video teaser of the song is from the star’s upcoming Tamil action-drama ‘Kabali’. The song has been picturized on Rajinikanth is said to mark his entry, during an important situation in the movie. This has raised expectations of the fans, who have been waiting for the film's release with bated breath.
