Director K.S. Ravikumar clears the air about his next project

Rumours have been doing rounds that superstar Rajinikanth is likely to join hands with prominent filmmaker K.S. Ravikumar once again for his next movie after the release of Kochadaiiyaan. But putting an end to all the rumours, the director himself has clarified that his next project stars Naan Ee actor Kiccha Sudeep and not Rajinikanth.

As told to a leading daily by Aadhavan director Ravikumar, "I've lost count of the number of times this rumour has surfaced! I'm not doing Rajini's next film; in fact, I will be directing Sudeep soon. I'm finalizing the details of that film, and will make an official announcement soon.” Quite interestingly Ravikumar and Rajini started working on Rana but it was later halted due to Rajini’s health problems. The upcoming movie by Ravikumar is reportedly going to be a bilingual to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Kannada. It is being heard that after listening to the script Rajinikanth referred Sudeep’s name for the role. Presently the young actor is busy filming his Kannada film Manikya.
