Feeling of homecoming for Khushbu after joining Congress party

Popular actress Khushbu joined Congress party after quitting from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Although the actress refused to discuss the reason for her exit from the party and the controversies associated with it but a close source says that Khushbu was not happy with theparty leadership.

The actress expressed her happiness after joining Congress party in the presence of AICC president Sonia Gandhi at her 10 Janpath residence in New Delhi and said,"This is a homecoming for me; my family has always been supporting the Congress. It is a moment of pride for me that I am at a place where I always wanted to be."

When asked about her first agenda after joining the party, the actress says "I have just joined the party. My focus is for the good of the country and Tamil Nadu is part of our country. So, it's not focused on Tamil Nadu alone. So, I have to wait for what role I would be playing in the Congress party."

According to rumours, it is believed that actor Karthik who heads Naadalum Makkal Katchi influenced Khushbufor such a big step.
