Flood scene shooting turns dangerous for Aadhi, Lakshmi Manchu

Lead actors of Kumar Nagendras directorial debut Marenthein Mannithen, Aadhi andLakshmi Manchu, had a close shave recently while shooting floods scenes for the film when the duo wasdragged towards Godavari river by 400 feet. The incident happened when the shooting for the Tamiland Telugu bilingual, which is being produced by the actress herself, was going on at the river banks inChinchinada village. The cast and crew of the film were shooting the floods sequences at around 12:45in the night and six gates of the reservoir were lifted on directors direction but due to the high currents,the stars were dragged deep into the water. However, the actors are safe and unhurt, thanks to thelocal fishermen.
