Great Start To Karunaas Political Innings

Actor Karunaas has sealed successful result in his recent political debut. The known comedian won Thiruvadanai constituency from AIADMK ticket. However, many were surprised when Jayalalitha allotted the popular seat to the Dindigul Sarathy actor.

Karunaas won the seat with a margin of 10,524 votes in his first election campaign. The multi-talented star will be soon sworn in with 134 MLAs from AIADMK in the legislative assembly. This will be the first time in over two decades when a government retained power in TN.

Recently, he fought for Nadigar Sangam and won comfortably too. The body is a union for film, television and stage actors, situated in Chennai. The institution was founded by veteran actor M. G. Ramachandran.
