It Is Important To Learn A New Thing; You Shouldn’t Be Boring: Catherine Tresa

Catherine Tresa has signed her next Kollywood film with Siddharth. It seems that the actress is quite excited to be in Chennai. The puja for the film took place yesterday in which he looked stunning in a turquoise blue jumpsuit. The movie is being directed by Sai Sekar.

 Catherine says she’s pretty excited to begin shooting for her next. “I think it’s an interesting script. I am sure you hear that a lot (laughs). But the audience here is really mature; in terms of the kind of cinema they experience and are really open to newer stuff. It doesn’t have to be a set template all the time. If you deliver, no matter how edgy or new, the film will do extremely well. I think this is one of those films. We begin shooting in two weeks. The actress has not revealed much detail about the film but said it is a thriller with an edge.

She is working simultaneously on three projects. One with Jai directed by Ethan Suresh, a Telugu project with Ravi Teja directed by Santosh Srinivas and a Malayalam film with Fahadh Faasil. On this, she said, “ I did Kannada when I was in college. I wasn’t even sure of what I was doing. I started figuring out my career in acting when I began doing Telugu and Tamil films. If you want to be an actor, you have to be serious about it. You can’t be goofing around. And that took time, effort, and a lot of hard work. In fact, I am still working on it. I try and learn new things. In fact, taking pop-and-lock lessons in Broadway, NY was one of them. It is important to learn a new thing. You shouldn’t be boring... nobody wants you to see you that way”.
