It’s Kajal Aggrawal For Kollywood’s Queen

The Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster Queen has already made news for the Kollywood fans. Now, the update that Kajal Aggrawal will be playing the lead in the film titled 'Paris Paris' will surely attract the audience. The remake is directed by actor-turned-director Ramesh Arvind.

On the decision of choosing Kajal as the lead, Ramesh said, "It is the powerful theme of Queen, which attracted me first. When we were looking out for an actress to essay the female centric strong role, the first one who came to our mind was Kajal Aggarwal. She is a perfect combination of beauty, talent and enthusiasm it is very rare. While chatting with her here, she was saying she feels as if she is doing her first film. That spirit and nervous energy is what I was looking for." He added that he had watched Kajal’s Magadheera, Temper and the recent Vivegam and considers her star power as phenomenal.

The director has modified the film to suit the Tamil fans and has asked Tamizhachi Thangapandian for dialogues and lyrics. Kajal has mentioned that the movie is dear to her heart and she will play the role of a protagonist in her own style and language. Well, it would be in an interesting watch whether the Kollywood Queen reaches the same height as the Bollywood one.
