Janani Takes Inspiration From Sridevi’s Character In Moondram Pirai For Her Role In Balloon

Everyone is aware that actress Janani will next be seen in Balloon. The movie which is a horror thriller is set in the late 80s. And to prepare for her role, the actress has taken an inspiration from one of the acclaimed Bollywood star.

Janani said that she has taken inspiration from Sridevi’s role in Moondram Pirai. Talking about Balloon, Janani said, "The film is set in the late 80s and everyone knows what that period was like when it came to fashion. A major portion of Balloon was shot in Kodaikanal and I'll mostly be seen wearing pavada sattai in it. So, when I spoke to my director about it, we decided to incorporate some of the basic styles from Sridevi ma'am's look in Moondram Pirai."

About her role in the film, Janani said, "I play the love interest of the Jai who sells balloons! My character is integral to the script. Except for the cold climate of Kodai, I enjoyed shooting every single day. The team is fun to be with and I've some fond memories associated with the film."
