Jyothika Was More Than Happy To Accept Magalir Mattum, Says Director Bramma

Director Bramma is quite excited about his forthcoming flick, Magalir Mattum, and shared how he approached lead actress Jyothika. He talked about his character in the movie and how the leading stars gelled up among themselves. The flick stars Suriya in lead role, which is touted to be a family drama.

“When I went and narrated the script to Jyothika madam, she was totally drawn into it. She became serious at a few moments, and was laughing at a few others, which gave me confidence that she would do the film,” Bramma said.

The filmmaker further added that the flick is based on a real life incident, as he continues to make flicks on the similar lines. “Since Jyothika essays the role of a documentary filmmaker, I wanted to give her a makeover. At the same time, I ensure that she is the same old Jyothika who fulfills her fans’ expectations”. Interestingly, for this flick, she learnt to ride a bike for the film and dubbed her own lines.
