'Kaala' Could Be Rajinikanth’s Fastest Shot Film Till Date

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently occupied with his upcoming project ‘Kaala’. The flick is being made under the direction of one of the most bankable directors of the country, Pa. Ranjith. He rose to fame with his second flick, the political drama ‘Madras’.

The makers of the film are trying hard to finish the film as early as possible. Rajinikanth completed his first schedule which was in Mumbai in just two weeks and then headed for Chennai. If latest reports are to be believed, over 70 percent of the superstar’s flick has been shot.

If reports are to be believed, ‘Kaala’ could be the actor’s first film to be shot so fast. As per a source, "The team is shooting at amazing pace, making it probably the fastest shot film in Ranjith's career. Nearly 70 per cent of the film has already been completed. The makers are really impressed with the way the film has shaped up".

Helmed by Pa. Ranjith, the flick is being bankrolled by Dhanush ’s Wunderbar Studios. Starring Eswari Rao, Huma Qureshi , Samuthirakani, Anjali Patil, Dileepan, Shayaji Shinde and Pankaj Tripathi , the flick is expected to hit the theatres on Pongal next year.
