The filmtentatively titled Uthama Villain will be made under the banner of Lingusamy Thirrupathi Brothers and will be produced by Lingusamy.

When inquired, the actor neither said a yes nor denied the news, "I don't want to comment on the project now. All I could say is that talks are on and we are working on it." The actor turned director wants Kamal to make an official announcement on the movie. The director has previously worked with Haasan in flicks likeSathi Leelavathi andRama Shama Bhama.
