Kamal Haasan Lends Helping Hand to N. Linguswamy

After N. Linguswamy’s Anjaan and Uttama Villain tanked at the box office, Kamal Haasan promised to make a medium budget film with the directors’ production company Thirupathi Brothers. The actor wants to pull the director out from the sticky situation. Linguswamy is having troubles releasing his films, Rajini Murugan and Idam Porul Yaeval, both of which have been completed.

According to sources, Kamal has decided to hand over his film ‘Thoongavanam’ to Linguswamy. The actor’s step would save a lot of time and provide a quick solution to the director’s problem. The news will soon be confirmed officially. Whether or not this gets the director out of the woods is yet to be seen.

N. Linguswamy’s Thirupathi Brothers has made several quality films in the past including, Kumki, Paiyaa and Vettai. Actor Kamal Haasan is known for his films Vishwaroopam, Dasavthaaram and Nayakan, among others. Kamal and Linguswamy worked together in Uttama Villain, which released in May this year.
