Kamal Haasan would make a great quizmaster, says producer Siddhartha Basu

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan, tried something new in his life and showed his brilliance once again on the sets. He recently participated inNeengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi, the Tamil version ofKaun Banega Crorepatiand left the show’s producer Siddhartha Basu amazed with his extraordinary power of knowledge and intelligence.

A source present on the sets, revealed, "Kamal sir answered most questions effortlessly, and the confidence with which he faced each question even made Siddhartha Basu say that he would make a great quiz master.” Haasan managed to win Rs. 50 lakh from the show with partner Gauthami and announced his noble plans to donate the prize money to Petral Than Pillaya, a non-profit organisation for cancer patients.

Earlier, Kamal attended the first season of the show only through a phone call, which used to be hosted by actor Suriya. His daughter Shruti Haasan, who was a participant in the show, asked for his help over a question. Prakash Raj is the host of the second season of the show. The special episode featuring Kamal Haasan will be aired on Star Vijay on April 12.
