Kannan Signs Gautham Karthik For His Next

Celebrated director Kannan is in a rush. The filmmaker from Jayam Kondaan has initiated his next project and the puja was conducted in the city. Gautham Karthik will be playing the lead actor in the flick, which is set to go on the floor from September.

"It is an action-thriller set in Chennai. We will begin shooting with Gautham from September 12, in Chennai. Rains provide the backdrop for this film, and so, we have plans to shoot during the rainy season here and across the country”, revealed Kannan.

Talking about Gautham’s character, the director said that he will be portraying the character of typical Chennai guy in the film. He added that the rest of the cast members are still to be finalized. Gautham’s last flick was a psychological thriller, Vai Raja Vai.
