Karthi shot introduction song for his next ‘Kashmora’

Karthi, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Kashmora’, recently shot his introduction song in the movie. What makes it so special is the fact that a particular sequence in the song has been shot with a 360-degree omni-directional camera rig comprising seven cameras. The upcoming film’s director Gokul and cameraman Om Prakash apparently decided to try something different and shot with this new technology instead of CG for this particular scene.

The movie also stars Nayantara and Sri Divya as female leads. "We have shot one sequence with Karthi and the dancers with this 360-degree camera rig. Multiple cameras are attached to one camera to get a 360-degree view of a shot”, said a source from the unit.

We had a seven-camera set-up that covered the entire field of view. It will be visually stunning on the big screen”, he also added. The team is planning to head to Bulgaria for the second schedule, as the first one is complete.
