Karthi’s next is a Tamil remake of The Intouchables?

-- News are doing the rounds that Karthi and Nagarjuna have been roped in to play the lead roles in Vamshi Paidipally’s next. Latest reports reveal that Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming movie might be a remake of French movie The Intouchables. The Intouchables is a beautiful story which revolves around a quadriplegic aristocrat and his care taker. However, director Vamshi Paidipally will do a lot of changes in the script and make it more relevant to the Indian audiences.

A source reveals, "The shooting of the film will start in April. The team has been scouting for locations in the US and other countries, but they are yet to finalise specific locations. While Karthi will be essaying the role of a caretaker, Nagarjuna will portray the role of a quadriplegic patient. The director has been making changes to the original, adding elements that will appeal to the regional audience."

Major part of the film will be shot at a posh bungalow in Dubai. Produced by PVP cinemas, the comedy drama will also have Shruthi Haasan in the lead role.
