Kochadaiiyaan may not release on scheduled date

Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan is reportedly facing release nuisance all over again. The flick was earlier slated to hit the screens on April 11, but was later scheduled to be out on May 9. Now, the news has surfaced that the film may not release on this day even as the difference of views amid one of its producers, Murali Manohar and some distributors has taken place.

An insider informed, “Adding fuel to fire was the sudden decision of the makers to stop the release of ads announcing the film's release. All this led to speculation on whether the film would release as originally promised.” It is being said that the producer is trying his level best to resolve the issues and let the film get released on the stated date.
At the same time, all the conjectures about the trouble have been brushed away by Jayakumar, Secretary of the TN Film Distributors Association. He said, “Normally, when a big film is to release, there are discussions on percentages, tickets rates and so on. That is what has been happening in this case. The advertisements will be released from tomorrow. Already, tax exemption has been granted to the film. Everything has been sorted out and the film is all set to release as per schedule.”
