Kollywood Cinematographer Om Prakash Talks About His Work And Future Plans

Kollywood cinematographer Om Prakash is known to have shot movies such as Kaashmora, Anegan and Maari. Om has created a great image for himself through his mesmerizing visuals among the Kollywood audience. Recently, the cinematographer exhibited his future plans and his thoughts about cinematography.

The cinematographer was quoted as saying, “I don’t want to stick to one genre. It will be boring and I love challenges at work. I work hard everyday to make every shot different from one another”. The cinematographer is riding high on the success of his recent movie titled as Aramm. He was quoted as saying, “When I was working in Kaashmora, Nayanthara suggested that I listen to Gopi Nainar’s story. At that time, I didn’t know she was doing the project. After listening to Gopi’s story, I told Nayan that it was incredible and then she confessed that she is a part of the project. I appreciated her for picking this realistic film”.

Om Prakash also shared that he feels honoured to have shot actress Nayanthara in her three different roles of her three movies. The cinematographer also revealed that he will be shooting movie ‘Aramm’ in gray scale format. The cinematographer will be shooting the upcoming movie ‘Maari 2’.
