Kongu Dialect For Karthi’s Next?

Actor Karthi is excited and wants to speak Kongu dialect in one his movies. During the inauguration of the Coimbatore festival, Komban actor arrived and tried his luck with Kongu dialect. The effort was applauded by one and all that were present at a city mall.

"A number of people have asked me why I haven't done a movie in the Kongu backdrop. Frankly speaking, I want to act in a movie in which I have to speak the Kongu dialect, but I haven't got any offers till now. In fact, I have done more movies set in Madurai, he said."

He further shared his opinion about the festival, "Coimbatore has always been close to my heart. While growing up, it was my home during the summer holidays. I used to spend my vacation every year at my aunt's house and what fun I had. People here would ask me how I could leave such a beautiful city and go to Chennai. It's so hot out there. I never had an answer to that. My father (veteran actor Sivakumar) was keen that our ties are not severed from the city, and hence, found a girl from Erode and married me off to her."
