Search For Actress Still On For India's Most Expensive Movie

Tollywood movie ‘Sangamithra’, a historical fiction is deemed to India’s most expensive movie. The buzz about the movie is doing rounds since a long time. The movie is said to be a tale about the trials and tribulations of Sangamithra and her pursuit to save her kingdom during the 8th century.

Earlier, it was being said that Shruti had been signed up to portray the role of Sangamithra. Later, the production banner of the movie, Sri Thenandal Films announced that the actress is no longer the part of the project through its social media handle. Then, actress Hansika Motwani was being considered for the lead role.

Now, it is being said that Hansika is also not part of the project and the makers of the movie are still looking out for the right actress for the titular role. The movie will also star Jayam Ravi and Arya as warriors. ‘Sangamithra’ is helmed and penned by Sundar C.
