Lovelyn Is The Female Lead In Lakshmy’s Next

Daughter of actress Viji Chandrasekar Lovelyn has been roped in by actress-director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan. Lovelyn has been chosen for the role of the female lead in her upcoming film, which is based on a true story. It must be noted that Viji played the lead character in Lakshmy’s directorial debut Aarohanam.

Moreover, the film will go on floors next week. The mother-daughter duo was waiting for a good script as they wanted a good launch for Lovelyn. I had put up a picture of the two of us on Facebook, captioning it ‘My Mirror’. Lakshmy had seen Lovelyn in a Facebook post uploaded by Viji and felt that she would be perfect for her film. As said by Viji, Lakshmy held an audition and only after being impressed with the outcome, she has chosen her. Lakshmy even earlier tweeted that Lovelyn rocked it in the audition.

Since she had already worked with Lakshmy, Viji says that she is very confident about how Lovelyn’s performance will turn out in the film. “I know how Lakshmy makes a film. She has three daughters, and she treats Lovelyn like her fourth, so I am not worried at all. After seeing Aarohanm, the late K Balachander, who introduced me, had written a heartfelt letter to Lakshmy saying that she had rediscovered me with that film. So, I’m happy that my daughter is debuting with her film,” she signs off.
