M. Sasikumar injures himself on sets of Thaarai Thappattai

Actor-filmmaker M. Sasikumar who is currently filming for Thaarai Thappattai has injured himself on the sets. The actor apparently hurt his left hand, while shooting for a fight sequence near Thanjavur. Since it was a furious fight, an ambulance along with the medical team was equipped on the sets.

Sasikumar was rushed to a nearby hospital without delay, where doctors confirmed a fracture in his hand. The actor has been advised to be on complete rest for a few days, following which director Bala suspended the shoot. The team has reportedly come back to Chennai.

Written and directed by Bala, Sasikumar-starrer Tharai Thappattai also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles. This film also happens to be Ilaiyaraaja's 1000th film, as a music composer.
