Madhoo to make a comeback with Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s next

Tollywood actress Madhoo, who is best known for herMadhu Balacharacter inRoja, is returning to the industry. The41-year-old has given a green signal toLakshmy Ramakrishnan’s directorial venture where she will be portraying herself. The flick is nottitled yet.

Actress turned directorLakshmy confirmed the news saying,"Madhoo plays a musician in a fusion band. I specifically wanted an yesteryear actress for the role and felt she will do full justice to it." The movie is about a man who is gauche and unknowingly benefits others. He has a girlfriend in his life and all of a sudden a celebrity comes into his life. Now he has to pick from his girlfriend and that new girl.

The director made clear that she has a quickie lined up before this, "I actually wanted to complete this film this year, but my daughter is getting married this December. I didn't want to work on it amidst personal distractions and so, pushed it to next year." She added in her statement, "Madhoo, who is excited by the role, too has been understanding and has told me that she will make herself free whenever I start shoot." We wish Madhoo does well like her previous releases.
