Madhuraj’s Upcoming Film Thodraa Based On True Events

Director Madhuraj’s forthcoming film Thodraa is said to be based on two shocking events that took place in Tamil Nadu. The story of the flick revolves around the problems faced by lovers in India. The movie stars Pandiya Rajan’s son Prithvi Rajan and newbie Veena in the lead roles.

Talking about the movie, the director said, “As it is, youngsters have to face a lot of problems if they are in love. So, when a couple elopes, their problems increases exponentially. Worse, if they get into wrong hands! I have taken one such case and have spoken about the issues.”

Madhuraj also adds that the movie will have a great impact on Prithvi’s career. Thodraa will be a career-defining film for Prithvi. It will gain him the fame like how Kadhal did for Bharath. Prithvi is a modest person with no airs about him.” The movie has been shot at those places in Pollachi where Kamal’s Devar Magan was shot, making it the only one after Devar Magan to be shot there. The makers are currently shooting the last leg of the film in Krishnagiri.
