Mahat Raghavendra all set for solo performance

Mahat Raghavendra, best known for his role in Mankatha is all set to do his next film titled Badam Pista. The film is said to be a romantic comedy. After a mind blowing performance in Vijay’s Jilla, Mahat will be doing a solo performance in Badam Pista.

According to Mahat, "It will have more comedy than romance. I play a local 'area payan' in the film. Since I am used to speaking the Madras slang, it would be fun doing something that I am comfortable with. We will be shooting the film in and around Chennai."

The Mankatha actor is also excited about his next film Simbu. Badam Pista will be directed by debutant director Michael who has also worked with directors Selvaraghavan and Aishwarya Dhanush.

Shooting for Badam Pista will begin in the month of November. "It is a pucca commercial film that includes everything from action, romance to comedy. The script is very interesting and it will be done on a large scale. I am going in for an image makeover for the film and will also be sporting a six-pack for the film. Once I am through with my Telugu project and Badam Pista, I will begin work on Simbu," states Mahat.
