Mahendran To Play Corrupt Politician In ‘Theri’

Vijay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Theri’. The film is just two weeks away from its release and it will hit the theatre screens on April 14, on Tamil New Year. The fans are waiting to see the actor in triples role for the first time.

One of the characters of the Puli actor will be seen playing a police officer named Vijay Kumar in the Atlee directorial. Samantha plays a doctor while Amy Jackson will be seen playing a teacher in the flick. Now, the role of film’s antagonist Mahendran has also been revealed.

Reports suggest that the veteran actor will be seen playing the role of a corrupt politician in the action entertainer. He revealed that in one of the scenes he had to blow the cigarette smoke in the face of the Puli actor. While doing so he controlled the smoke so that the expressions of Vijay could be captured. Surely, ‘Theri’ will be a treat to watch.
