Makers Of Vikram's Next Issues Official Clarification On Heroine And Music Director

Riding high on the success of Iru Mugan, Vikram has become choosier and is taking his time to select his next flick. He recently announced to team up with director Vijay Chander for his next. Chander made his directorial debut with 2015 film Vaalu.

Ever since the announcement came out, gossip mills were churning out rumours about the heroine and music director of the project. Rumours surfaced that Sai Pallavi of Premam fame will be making her Tamil debut with this film playing opposite Vikram. About the music director, Anirudh's name linked with the project.

To shut the rumours, the makers of the flick have issued an official clarification. The statement read, "Only the hero Vikram and director Vijay Chander have been confirmed for the project. The heroine, music director and all other cast and crew members are yet to be finalized. We will formally announce after things are firmed up".

Vikram’s Iru Mugan has been declared this year’s third biggest hit after Kabali and Theri. Now, there’s more responsibility on him to match up with the audiences’ hopes.
