Malvika Joins Arasiyalla Idhellam Sagajamappa Cast

Malvika Nair, the glory of M’town, thanks to her stellar performance as a visually-impaired character in her debut Tamil film Cuckoo. The recent update is that the actress has come on board for yet another significant role for Arasiyalla Idhellam Sagajamappa. Rajathandhiram star Veera will be seen playing the male lead, Avinash Hariharan, who has directed many short films, will helm this project.

Talking about the film, Malvika says, “It’s a comedy caper with situational humour — it is not a dialogue-oriented film at all. But for any of comedy, timing is important. I tried humour in my earlier Telugu film Kalyana Vaibhogame and it was quite tough. I tend to tone down on my reactions always.”

In the film, Malvika plays an urban girl, who is a professional photographer. However, her character in Arasiyalla Idhellam Sagajamappa is very different from her character in Cuckoo. Talking about the title of the film, the actress reveals that the makers drew inspiration from popular dialogue of leading comedian Goundamani from the film Suriyan.
