Mammootty To Debut As A Producer With Street Lights

After impressing everyone with his impeccable acting skills, megastar Mammootty is now venturing into production. He is all set to produce a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual titled Street Lights under his home production Playhouse Motion Pictures. The Pullikkaran Staraa actor will essay the role of an investigative officer called James who takes up a case that takes him to different parts of Tamil Nadu.

The movie will mark the debut directorial of ace cinematographer Shamdat. Shamdat has worked in as DoP in Kamal's films Vishwaroopam 2 and Utthama Villian. Since the film is being made in Tamil and Malayalam, therefore its supporting cast will be different in both the languages.

While Prithivi, Pandiarajan, Pandi, Pasanga Sreeram, Adhish, Gayathri and Naan Kadavul Rajhendran will be the supporting cast in the Tamil version, the Malayalam version will feature Soubin Shahir, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Hareesh and Lijomol Jose in pivotal roles. The teaser of the film released a few days back and is slated to release on January 26.
