Mammootty Was In My Mind From Very Beginning: Ram

Director Ram is wearing a new look for a test shoot these days. The filmmaker is working on his new project drama flick, Peranbu. Mammoottyy plays the lead character in the movie, where Anjali will play his opposite number.  

On being asked about his experience working with ace actor, he said, “Peranbu touches upon complex human relations between people who face serious issues in life. The film is set against both, urban and rural backdrop. "The story idea struck me six years ago, and Mammootty was in my mind even as I was developing the plot. I had a great time working with him — his understanding about acting and conceiving scenes were different from mine — thanks to his vast experience of acting in around 400 films, he was adept in the technical aspects of filmmaking, too”.

Ram is also filming for Taramani, which went on the floor before Peranbu. The lead cast of the movie include Andrea Jeremiah and Vasanth Ravi, where the movie is expected to release later this year. He added that he did less research on the movie and was inspired by day-to-day life.
