Mani Ratnam finds new heroine for Kadal

If reports are to be believed then Mani Ratnams search for the leading lady for his latest film Kadal, after actress Samantha opted out of the film, is over. According to sources, yesteryear actress Radhas youngest daughter and Karthikas sister Thulasi has been finalized for the role. As soon as the news of Samantha leaving the film came out, the 15-year-old, who is studying in Class XIX, has flown to Chennai with her parents to meet the director. The source said that Mani Ratnam not only signed the actress for the role but had also done a workshop for her to boost her confidence. The source added that the team Kadal is also very happy with Thulasis inclusion to the film.
