Mani Ratnam, A.R. Rahman combo to be back again?

The latest combo-project of the maestro duo Mani Ratnam and A.R. Rahman,Kadalfailed to impress the audience and emerged as an unsuccessful venture at the box-office. The latest buzz is that the ace filmmaker is looking forward to work again with the music legend, according to his wife Suhasini Mani Ratnam.

Following the failure ofGautam Karthik-Thulasi Nair starrerKadalat the cinemas, Mani Ratnam never announced anything officially regarding his next venture. However, some unconfirmed news is doing rounds that his next film would be a love story set in the era of India-Pakistan partition.

It was also reported that the director would team up with music maestro Ilaiyaraaja for the film, after a long time. But if the latest news is to be believed and if it comes true, it would be a treat to watch for the movie lovers.
